Village hall

Originally there was a village hall where the green is in the centre of Mendham village. It was the studio that Alfred Munning used but was used for some community events. Then a concrete building was erected after the 2nd WW on the site of the car park in Mendham. Later the wooden shed in Withersdale Street was erected and has been used for many years but was closed and sold in 2009. Now there is a new purpose built village hall further east on Withersdale Street which opened in November 2009.
