Funding for this new facility came from Suffolk County Council, the Hoxne Locality Fund, Mid Suffolk District Council, Mendham Parish Council and the two villages’ Community Council, as well as a large number of national funders.  More details of the funding support can be found on the sheet headed "Details of Funders and Supporters".

Playing Field

Open to the public for all reasonable and legal recreational purposes.  It would be preferable for reasons of health and hygiene, if dogs were walked around the edge of the football pitch.  Dog walkers must remove any dog mess.  A soccer pitch is marked out.

Management

Running of Mendham and Withersdale Village Hall and its facilities is the responsibility of the Village Hall Management Committee. This consists of the village hall trustees and representatives from a number of village organisations using the hall, and normally meets at least six times a year.

Hall Manager: Mrs Julie Herbert Tel: 01379 588202
